Pannage Pork is back In Season
Pannage Pork
Every Autumn pigs are released on to the open forest to eat the season acorn harvest. Acorns are poisonous to the native New Forest ponies and cattle but not pigs. This is an ancient tradition seen across Europe notably in Spain and Portugal with Jamon iberico. In late autumn we are source local pannage pork and produce a range of sausages, joints and meat boxes containing this delicious, specialist meat.
These have SOLD OUT quicker than expected – we are trying to source more. Please email [email protected] to be added to our waiting list
